I stayed in a small bungalow near the beach, where I could hear the waves. The room was clean and had fresh bedding, towels, a clothes rack, and enough room for my bags and belongings. There was air conditioning, a fridge, a hot shower, and shampoo and soap. The place is quiet and private, with lovely staff, direct beach access, and local restaurants nearby. The sunrise views are beautiful. In the afternoon, the sea is good for swimming, and the soft beige sand is nice to walk on at low tide. I spotted ghost crabs and egrets, and enjoyed collecting shells. On clear nights the sky is full of stars, and around the waxing moon the moonlight is especially clear. If you just want somewhere peaceful to rest before heading out for daytime activities, I’d happily recommend it.

The staff are very kind, but the building and facilities are old and quite small. If you’ve never stayed in an older property in Thailand, you might be surprised. It could suit experienced travelers who can sort out their own food, comfort, and activities.

It’s easy to take a day trip to the Kui Buri elephant watching site from here. There’s also great food nearby, with a noodle shop next door and a hotel restaurant beside it serving amazing Thai food. Great location and a private beach. Highly recommend!

The people were so kind, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a lovely place beside a quiet, beautiful beach, just right for relaxing. I definitely recommend it!
