I loved the Lotus Cake at this lovely cafe beside the Red Lotus Lake. The staff were friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. They also have a restaurant across the road, where we had the best chicken wings.

I stopped by this cafe this afternoon to try its signature cake, only to be told it had been out of stock for a long time. How does a place run out of its signature cake for so long? The signature tea was disappointing too, just lukewarm water with a tea bag.

After a tour of the red lotus lake, this is a lovely spot to have a meal. The cafe is clean, with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. We enjoyed the food, which was full of flavor and nicely balanced. The fried rice and grilled pork neck with its tasty dipping sauce are especially worth trying.
