Room 302 worked perfectly for me as someone working online while traveling. I spent six weeks there and the Wi-Fi never gave me a problem. There was also a smart TV, which I liked for watching a bit of YouTube or Netflix when I wanted to relax. The shower had strong pressure and reliably hot water, and the room was kept spotless. The staff made sure I had fresh towels and clean sheets, and everyone made me feel welcome. Reception deserves a mention too, check-in and check-out were quick, smooth, and friendly, an easy 10 out of 10. Neptuna hotel is right in the heart of Kata, with restaurants, bars, beaches, and plenty of local energy within walking distance. Karon Beach is a short ride away. The coffee was excellent, from caramel frappuccino to classic iced coffee, and the evening cocktails were fantastic. I especially recommend the Happy Madchester, and the Espresso Martini was beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. It felt like it was made by a real artist. The price is excellent for the location, comfort, and service. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back. Thanks again to the Owner and staff for a wonderful time at your hotel 🙏🏻

Neptuna was a great place to get settled and figure out my next move after arriving in Thailand alone. I was lucky to check in at 2am, and the modern bar and reception are staffed 24/7, with friendly people close by whenever I needed help. It's near just about everything. In the afternoons they make some amazing signature cocktails, alongside the usual beers and spirits. The coffee in the morning was easily the best I had anywhere in thailand. For me, it was the perfect starting point for my travels, somewhere to get my bearings and think about where to go next.

I only stayed one night, and honestly the beach would've been better. A water pump in the room made so much noise that I couldn't sleep, even with earplugs, so I asked to move rooms. Then, when I tried to shift wires sticking out of the wall behind the pillow, I got an electric shock from the mains! The sheets were stained and the room furnishings were falling apart. A disaster. Run away!

The main road makes it really noisy at night. The rooms are a bit shabby, and the service feels like too little for the price.

I've been coming to Thailand and staying in Kata Beach hotels for three years, and I've finally decided to stay long term at Neptuna. A reasonable price has always been my number one reason. I'm fine with budget rooms, but for the same price Neptuna has a few little luxuries I haven't found elsewhere. One of them is a big bed with quality linens. Most budget places just push two small beds together.
