The low price is the only thing I liked, and I’d avoid staying here again. My room was clean and looked maintained, but there was a faint, constant smell of rotting garbage. The corridors smelled bad too. The views were awful, with shabby chairs stacked up and nearby properties looking run down. The air conditioning failed two days in a row. When we reported it, some staff were very rude and didn’t get it fixed. They said they’d call someone, then left us waiting from 9:30pm until 12:30am while clearly not trying to help. I wish I could give an even worse rating. I didn’t mention the cockroach in the fridge when I checked in. There are MANY other places like this.

Being right across from the beach was the best part of our stay at Anda Beachside Hotel. It’s fairly affordable, but the simple facilities and low standards are worth keeping in mind. One of our rooms had no working A/C for a whole night, so it got extremely hot and uncomfortable. The listing mentions a restaurant and a bar, which felt misleading. There’s a room for breakfast, but the breakfast is very basic. We couldn’t find a bar inside the hotel, only a café/bar next door, and it’s unclear whether that’s what the description meant. Great spot, okay for the price, as long as you’re prepared for a basic stay without the advertised extras.

Very Russian tourist area. The location is good and the staff are friendly. You can get a cheap breakfast, but the WiFi kept dropping and the TV was bad. The pool gets full sun, and smoking is allowed. The room and elevator could have been cleaner.

The pool was a relaxing place to spend time, with a scenic view, and I’d happily come back. We could walk to restaurants and markets, while Patong was a 10-15 minute drive away. Our side sea view room looked out to the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, with Big Buddha visible too. Great location and rooms, just loved the place.
