Basic Line Hotel at Loikroh

The location is ideal, but that’s about all I can say for it. The front desk was helpful and offered us a different room with a window after the first room was awful. It looked nothing like the pictures, and the mold was extreme. The smell was abrasive, and even the AC had a strong mold smell. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but that much mold was absurd. The replacement room was dated and had few amenities. The walls were damaged, with holes like someone had punched them, and the mounted TV was halfway ripped out of the wall. The AC worked, but its settings couldn’t be changed. The TV display was badly fragmented too. This place might suit someone who truly has no other option because of budget.

It’s basic, as the name suggests. There was no window, and the geyser barely worked. I paid 300 for the key deposit, then was charged 400 for 2 spoiled pillow covers even though I was alone. The covers they showed had mud stains. Better take photos when you arrive and check the AC and geyser.

There are lots of stairs, and some rooms don’t have windows. The shower is hard to control and gets very hot. Still, it’s great value for the price.

Don’t rent scooters from this place. Parts flew off ours while we were riding on the highway, which was extremely dangerous and nearly caused an accident. We even had to call the police. This is the worst, most unfriendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like it.
