Alura Guesthouse Kata Beach

I spent seven nights in a mountain-side room with a view of the Big Buddha. It was peaceful, and the view was beautiful. The room was spacious, with a desk, sofa, and a large king-size bed with an excellent mattress. I slept really well and came home rested. Guesthouse Alura exceeded my expectations. Ramon, the Dutch owner, and his two staff members were very welcoming and helpful. Ramon was available for questions, gave useful local tips, and could arrange attractive discounts for trips around Phuket. I usually stay in four-star hotels, but this guesthouse is well worth its three stars, especially for the value. I also liked not being woken early by cleaning staff. If you want the room or bed linen cleaned, just let them know and it's arranged properly. The bathroom could use a small update, and then it would be perfect. I'd definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Kata beach is only a short walk away, and guests can use the kitchen freely. The toilets and showers were clean, and the hostel itself was very nice. The host was welcoming and helpful. The bedroom on the hostel side was a bit cramped, but I had a very good experience overall.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay and will definitely return. Ramón, the owner, was outstanding and helped arrange special accommodation when we needed it. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were always kind and attentive. The location is great, very close to the beach, so we could enjoy the sea all the time. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was delicious, and the view from my spacious room was lovely. I slept so well in the big, unbelievably comfortable bed. The room had a huge screen for Netflix, all the basics including a toothbrush and toothpaste, and two bottles of water in the fridge. Everything felt fresh, with no odd smells, and the place was cozy and very clean. The beach, shops, and cafes are all close by. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially when I arrived feeling unwell. They looked after me gently, and I really felt at home. Thank you, I’d highly recommend it!
