The location was quiet and peaceful, but the food and staff who didn’t speak English were disappointing. We also found a mouse in our room, and for what was offered, the place wasn’t worth the price. Because of the mouse, we checked out early and moved to a nearby resort.

It’s a Robinson Crusoe kind of place, more secluded than the other one. You get what you see. If you’re after somewhere basic, quiet, and relaxing, this is the spot.

We loved Pansand resort. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had delicious Thai food. Our room was cleaned every day, and it was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It’s on a dream beach, too. Nothing bad to say.

We stayed for three weeks and still wished we had more time. There’s really nothing to do, which is exactly part of the island’s quiet, calm charm. There’s basically no shopping and no partying, so it won’t suit people looking for either. We think Pansand resort is the best place on the island. The staff are lovely and caring, the restaurant serves nice meals, and breakfast is a perfect buffet. The bungalows are fairly basic, with a fan at night and no air conditioning. Electricity is switched off for some hours during the day. The island is still one of the best places on earth for us. It’s all sand with no paved paths or roads, so it isn’t suitable if you have babies who need strollers.
