The Eco room is very bare bones. It has a hard waterproof mattress and pillow, a kettle, two bottles of drinking water each day, tissues, a wardrobe, and two tiny bars of soap. There’s no TV, fridge, toothpaste or toothbrush, and no toilet paper, just a bidet spray if you’re used to that. The idea seems to be a quiet, isolated room, but you can still hear the next room’s TV and guests talking loudly as they walk through the shared area. Staff don’t speak English, so you’ll need Google Translate. The air conditioning and water heater worked, and there’s a balcony for drying clothes. It’s a three-minute walk to the main street, with plenty of street food and two food courts, one open during the day and one at night. There’s also a 199B Mookata buffet open until 4am and an open-air bar to relax at. Try the Halal briyani opposite 7-11 on the right side of the main street. Future Park is a good mall with lots of food options. You’ll need Bolt or Grab by car or motorbike to get around. The nearest BTS is Yaek Kor Por Aor, Exit 4 going there and Exit 3 on the return. It’s about 45 minutes to Siam station.
