I only tried the restaurant, not the resort. Dinner outside in the huge, beautiful garden by the pond felt almost like being in nature. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and the food was good quality, made with fresh ingredients and what felt like real cooking skill. Ask about mosquito repellent spray before dinner. Getting here is very difficult without your own vehicle. The prices aren’t cheap or expensive, and the food and service are worth them.

It’s a lovely place. I did feel a bit weird having a waitress standing by throughout the whole meal, though. I guess it’s a different culture, but I felt uncomfortable.

Great northern-style food, live music, and reasonable prices.
