Le Neuf Nakorn Lampang

The owner was kind enough to drive me from Lampang to Chiang Mai himself, for what a taxi would have cost. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and spoke good English. I stayed eight nights, with easy check-in and check-out, and the hotel worked well as a central base for walking or using rideshare. You need a keycard to enter the building, and scooter rental is available. They also gave me a map of things to do nearby. My room was basic but a good size, with a balcony and plenty of daylight from the window. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with daily hospitality at a high standard. The large, firm bed was comfortable, the refrigerator was about the size of two mini fridges, and the AC worked well. There were plenty of outlets and good lighting at night in the room and bathroom, though a light over the mirror would help. Shower pressure was good and there was hot water. Wi-Fi coverage stayed good even at peak times, and there is covered parking. There's also a nice park around the corner that reminded me of a mini-Lumpini Park in Bangkok. One thing to know, there is no lift, only stairs, though that wasn't a problem for me.
