If you're staying in Lamphun, this is a good spot. It's quiet, inexpensive, and the woman who runs it speaks English really well and is happy to help. The building could use an update, but the staff keep it clean all the time. Chiang Mai is about a 30-minute drive away, so I wouldn't recommend it as much if that's where you're headed.

The only real plus for me was the low price. I stayed two nights, and the room was very worn, with no sign of proper cleaning. There were spiders and webs in the bathroom, which would have been so easy to clear away. The air conditioner was old and loud, the location wasn't good, and some outlets didn't work. The toilet seats were nasty and old too. I'd look elsewhere until they renovate, or at least paint and fix those things.

Big rooms in a quiet local spot, and mine was clean. There was air conditioning, a fridge, free water, cutlery, and a hot shower. The lady running the place was lovely 😊🙏👌👍

I spent a year here while working in Lamphun, and I still miss the ladies at DNK. It's a peaceful property, with roomy rooms and comfortable mattresses. Shops and restaurants are an easy walk away, or you can rent a bike, and Walking Street isn't far. People in the neighborhood are friendly, including the shopkeepers. There are dogs around: the white one barks and can seem aggressive, though he doesn't bite, while Junie, a black dog on the property, is affectionate and will protect you from the others. If the dogs are too much trouble, tell the landlady and she'll handle it. Laundry costs ฿20, and there's a clothesline for drying.
