Gassan Khuntan Golf Resort Lamphun

I only played golf and didn’t stay in a room. The courses are great, though it gets too crowded in the morning. Most of the players were Korean, around 95%.

The caddies were very good, and it’s always enjoyable playing here despite the drive of nearly an hour from Chiangmai. I didn’t stay at the resort, just played the course. It was in reasonable shape after the rain, with a few challenging holes.

All 27 holes are somewhat difficult. They offer a good challenge for intermediate golfers and above.

There’s water everywhere, so you need enough distance to carry the ball across. It’s a challenging course, and having a good caddy is your best bet. The greens are fast, and the fairway is kept in fairly good shape. The setting is relaxing, though the view isn’t spectacular. Facilities could use improvement, and the playing charges are a little steep.
