Uthai Thani feels wonderfully authentic, and I think it deserves a lot more attention. For our stay, the hosts were so welcoming, made us a great breakfast each morning, and were always ready with helpful suggestions. We’ve never stayed anywhere with a view this good.

It’s a quiet, spacious place well away from the city, with trees, flowers, and fruit all around. The resort is simple but cozy and elegant, and there are only a few rooms in each area. The host was really kind and hospitable. Hills and fields make the setting especially nice.

The room was lovely, in a traditional wooden house set in a big garden, with a view of the mountain. The owners were super friendly.

The fruit orchard, especially the mangoes and bananas, and the beautiful landscape made Baan Chai Khao just the escape from Bangkok we wanted. There are caves and waterfalls nearby, plus a wildlife sanctuary that’s great for hiking. Dan and Arunya were fantastic hosts, very welcoming, and their home had everything we needed. My wife and I had a lovely stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

After three months and 10,000 km riding all over Thaïlande, I still found new things here every day during my week-plus stay. The hospitality was incredible, way beyond what you’d expect, and the food was absolutely fabulous, cooked in the traditional thail way. This is the most exceptional place I’ve stayed. If you’re in Thaïlande and miss it, that’s on you.
