Paklop Resort

The on-site restaurant has a mix of Thai and Western dishes, and the food is nice. A young woman working there spoke very good English during our stay, which made ordering easy. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, with very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast at the coffee shop is included in the B&B package, with only two choices, one Thai and one Western, but it was okay. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

For 1000-1200 baht including breakfast, I think this is fantastic value. The room has a very modern style, a great bathroom, and both a door and a gate at each room, which makes it feel private. People complaining about the price, I’m not sure what they expect. That’s very cheap.

There’s a private little garden with fish ponds, and it was lovely to fall asleep to frogs croaking and the occasional splash of a fish fin, then wake to birdsong and a view of nature. The room is a bit old, but spacious, very comfortable, and has everything you need. The big bed had starched linen that creaked pleasantly, and you could feel how clean it was. For 1000 baht, it even includes a private parking garage. The restaurant is by the road, but the noise inside is almost inaudible. Breakfast is a standard American breakfast or congee. I prefer congee.

The bed is king-size, clean, comfortable, and tall, and the shower could fit four people if you need ;) There’s a swimming pool, fitness area, and an easy place to park a bike. Behind the room is a chill spot with plants and fish, and there’s private parking right in front. They offer Thai or American breakfast. Really nice place with caring people. I’d recommend it. Tks.
