Sabai Hotel Lopburi

For a night, it was clean and reasonably comfortable. The air-conditioned rooms are cheap, and the hotel isn't fancy at all.

I've stayed in hotels many times, often recommending them to relatives, and I've also used Sabai Hotel repeatedly. The location and atmosphere are great, and I often visit home. My latest stay was Saturday, April 25th, 2026, checking out on April 26th. At 7:51 AM, I bought porridge and coffee and sat in the hotel's covered seating area. Water had pooled on the walkway, with no warning sign, and I slipped. I scraped my knee and hurt my ankle. I used alcohol and tissues from my bag to clean myself up, then told staff about the water and my fall. They ignored me and offered no first aid medicine, saying only that it was probably rainwater. I waited because I didn't think I was badly hurt, but my knee and ankle became very painful. Despite that, I walked around and went to the counter to ask about the accident. My knee was broken and bleeding, and my foot was injured. Staff still didn't offer medicine, treatment, or first aid. They spoke among themselves and called their supervisor, the hotel manager, without discussing the incident or circumstances with me. They wouldn't even let me speak on the phone to explain what happened or ask how they would handle it. After a long wait, a gardener drove me to the hospital at around 8:30 AM. The hotel asked me to pay the costs upfront and said I could claim reimbursement later. I was confused about why I should be responsible for the expenses when I was injured by pooled water and there were no warning signs for guests. I used my social security insurance for treatment. The staff member who drove me from the hotel checked me out, since my belongings were still in room 209. After treatment, my foot hurt so much I couldn't walk. My brother brought me a cane and came to the hotel to take me to my sister's house. Before leaving, I asked what compensation the hotel would offer. I had to take time off work and suffered injuries like before. The manager ended the call without speaking with me, the injured guest who was staying there. The hotel said we had been negligent and guests were at fault, and offered to cover one night's stay, 390 baht. I'm filing this complaint to ask for measures to maintain safety standards and care for the building and rest areas, since accidents like this could happen at any time. Thank you.
