Evergreen Suite Hotel

We were there for six nights and found the staff friendly and professional. The rooms have recently been remodeled, and ours had good water pressure and decent Wi-Fi. A bellman helped with our luggage. There was coffee, tea, and toast in the lobby in the morning, a welcome surprise. Nearby restaurants are there if you want a more substantial breakfast. Great hotel.

There’s a well-equipped gym within easy walking distance. It isn’t part of the hotel, but it was convenient to get to. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were kind, polite, and always ready to help. They even held doors open for guests. Very nice hotel :)

Our upper corner room looked out over the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine, which was a nice extra. It was on the sixth floor, Room 600, an Executive King Room with a separate bedroom, two air conditioners, two balconies, one bathroom, and two TVs. There’s no kitchen, but they provided a hot pot, coffee, and tea. The room felt more like a one-bedroom apartment, and the whole hotel was very clean, with a new or recently remodeled feel. We booked through Agoda for about 1,000 baht per night and paid a 200 baht key deposit. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and professional. Food, the river, and street markets are within walking distance. Comfortable and excellent value for a short stay or overnight. We’d definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The Superior King had a really comfortable bed, right between too hard and too soft, plus a good-sized room with a sitting area, plenty of cupboard space, and a balcony where you can sit outside. Fresh brewed coffee, water, and juice are free at reception, and they put out toast and jam in the morning. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops are nearby, and the river, city pillar, and markets are walkable. I’d recommend this place. The walk-in rate was 690 bht, just 50 bht cheaper through a travel app, which wasn’t a big difference. It fills up early because it’s popular. There’s also Deer Motorcycle Hire nearby, with bikes for 200 or 300 bht a day, handy for exploring Surat city.
