Saya Loft Hostel Lopburi

The name nearly put me off because I thought this was a hostel, but it's a clean, decent hotel. You have to take your shoes off at the main entrance. Rooms come as singles or doubles and are an acceptable size; only the doubles have a balcony. It's not fully soundproof, but the cleanliness and hospitality made up for that. Yng, who seemed to be one of the owners, and her mum were incredibly kind and helpful. They knew we were visiting injured relatives at a nearby hospital and went out of their way to take us places to get things done, waiting for us too. They also helped us with research and translation. We can't thank them enough for treating us like family when we were strangers. Breakfast was nice; you need to let them know your preferred meal time and cuisine in advance. Nearby, there's only a 7-11 and a pharmacy. My family and I are truly grateful, and we'd highly recommend this place if you're ever in Lopburi. Ten thumbs up for the people and the place!

The room is small for the high price, and even whispers outside carry into it. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the road gets noisy early in the morning.

Very cozy and nice, with clean rooms and lovely people. Feels like a place for couples or chicks.

Great for teachers or anyone staying in Thailand long term. You can rent a room by the month for a very low price. For 6000 B, everything is included: electricity, water, and internet. The room is comparable to a good hotel, and it comes with a washing machine, iron, and air-con. There are lots of beautiful old temples worth seeing.
