The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and helpful, and the pool was beautiful. The location was great too. The place looks newly renovated and was very clean. Best of all, it was the most comfortable bed I’ve had in Thailand so far, which is saying something. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Ya arranged a long tail boat trip to Chiang Rai for us. We made two stops: first at a local village, which wasn’t anything extraordinary, then another stop that seemed aimed at getting you to buy things. I’d avoid the snake man there, it felt exploitative. Aside from those stops, it was a wonderful stay. Ya is a fantastic host, and her staff are lovely too. We couldn’t fault the place. Everyone was so friendly, and we even got upgraded to a river view room.

The hotel is safe, quiet and has a pool, with some rooms offering direct river views and a balcony. It sits right beside the Mae Kok River, in the centre of Tha Ton. Nearby you’ll find a Thai massage shop, 7eleven, an ATM and a Thai-style restaurant. I’d recommend staying here. Be sure to visit the temple complex too, the view across the plain from the dome is extraordinary.

A cozy, peaceful hotel beside the Kok river, with a great view of the area. I would’ve stayed longer if I hadn’t already booked my next accommodation in Chiang Rai. Service seems to be the family’s middle name 👌. Thanks for everything 🙏🏻

The pool was a bit chilly, mind you 😁. We had a very comfortable night, and the lady and family who run the place were so nice. We’d be very happy to return if we’re back in the area.
