The koi pond is a lovely feature, and the property is tucked on a street very close to the lake. The room is thoughtfully designed with what a weary traveler needs, including a comfortable bed and strong WiFi.

We showed up without a reservation and were glad they had a room. The nicer ones were full, so we got a basic room, but it was clean and comfortable enough for the night. It was quiet, friendly, and a short walk to the lake, market, and temple stairs. Plenty of parking, too, and a great price.

The room was a decent size, with a clean bed, and the water was warm with normal pressure. Wi-Fi stayed at a steady speed with few dropouts, and I liked the relaxing koi pond right in front of the house. The room acoustics weren’t great. It’s fairly close to the lake and night market, and depending on which room you get, you can watch the lantern festival from your own balcony. Parking is limited, and the narrow street into the motel is hard to find. Cheap, with no nasty surprises.

The driveway gave us a different impression than the place itself, in a good way. It’s a fantastic, modern spot with a big room and friendly owners, close to the lake and night market but still quiet. We stopped for one night on the Mae Hong Son loop and would definitely recommend it.
