The afternoon tea they gave us for free was a real highlight. We also enjoyed dinner from the little places next door on our balcony, though the ground-floor view wasn’t spectacular. The hotel has a lovely European Nordic feel, and everything was high quality, especially the bed and huge bathroom. We stayed four nights. The bedroom is small, with no bedside tables, and the road is right nearby, though it was quiet at night and didn’t bother us. Breakfast was a letdown for the price: no milk for the coffee, just a cup and a bag of home roast, and the water heated in the microwave wasn’t hot enough. The salad was nice, but felt more like lunch to me as a European.

We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back. It’s peaceful and quiet, a little way from CNX city center, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The infinity pool was lovely, and we caught a beautiful sunset. Even before we arrived, Ploy was very helpful with our booking questions.

Pong Yang has plenty of scenic spots, farms, and things to do. We went to Jungle Coaster & Zip-line, only a 10-minute drive away, and I’d ask the staff for suggestions. The hotel and cafe would’ve been enough for a relaxing stay on their own, though. The coffee was good, the staff were super nice and attentive, and our top-floor room had a great view, two balconies, and an outdoor tub.

Breakfast by the pool was superb, with plenty of choices and a private dining feel while we watched the beautiful sunrise. The rooms were great, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s also a convenient base for getting around, from Mon Jam to Mae Rim.
