Watch out for the price. They charged me 800 for a basic room after I arrived late, having looked at lots of places. I agreed because of the hour, but then asked other guests, including locals, and they had paid 600 or 500. I don’t think the room was worth 800.

The room was spacious and the hotel itself was pretty nice, but the phone call about our booking left me really mad. We booked the night before Loy Krathong, when almost nothing else in Chiang Mai was available, and had already paid in full through Agoda with confirmation. While we were starting a five-hour drive the next day, I called the hotel and was told they hadn’t received the booking. The woman kept telling me to contact Agoda. After about 10 minutes of arguing, she finally said it was okay and that she would handle it with Agoda, as she should have. Her service and attitude on the phone were the problem.
