The standard room had a fan and no air conditioning. I first got an AC room because of a mix-up, and it wasn't too bad, but they moved me once they realized I'd only paid for standard. There was just one power socket in the room, and the fan used it, so I could charge only one device at a time. That was a pain in a warm, stuffy room. The toilet was filthy, the heater was broken and sparked when I tried to switch it on, and there was no toilet paper. Bugs were drowned all over, and the drain was blocked. Staff didn't understand much English. Even though I'd booked and paid through Expedia, the counter staff kept saying I had to pay cash because they hadn't received anything. I'm guessing they may have been new to Expedia. It took about half an hour to sort out. I wouldn't recommend the standard room. Pay more for AC.

We chose an AC room, and it was comfortable. Everything was good.

The staff were attentive and made us feel at ease. Rooms were clean, and the price was affordable.

The bathroom was so cramped I could hardly turn around. There was a bucket and dipper, maybe in case the water stopped flowing, and no spare key, so you'd have to pay extra if you lost yours or left it in the room. The room had two beds, but the mattresses were old springs. The blankets smelled musty and were stained, so I used my own and didn't dare touch the towels. The AC was old, the TV didn't work, and the fridge wasn't plugged in. The moment I opened the door, a foul, musty smell hit me. I know it's a guesthouse, but I found it unacceptable. Maybe check it out if saving money matters to you. I didn't like it at all. Once was enough.
