The room key card wouldn't work, and I had to go back to reception to report it. The receptionist then sent someone to let me in, but did so reluctantly and with a mocking smile instead of apologizing. Earlier, she had handed me the card without arranging help to find my room, saying there was no need to escort me because I had booked already. Her attitude turned hostile after she learned I'd booked through Agoda at a different rate from the roughly 3,500 THB she had quoted when I asked in person. I felt I was treated rudely and discriminatorily by the female receptionist, a woman with glasses and a heavy build, during my stay today at Centra Life Hotel, Mae Sot. This was deeply disappointing and insulting. Management should look into what happened and take appropriate action so other guests don't face the same treatment. This kind of behavior badly damages the hotel's reputation.

The beds were comfortable, and the pool area was great 👍🏼👍🏼. We had a great stay, with wonderful staff. Special thanks to Mr. Tharon at the front desk for all his help.

The gym would have been a plus, but it was closed. The room was old, though the AC worked, and there's a good swimming pool. I chose this place because the kids like to swim. It's close to robinson, but otherwise there are lots of cheaper, newer places.

The service was great, no doubt, and the room itself was decent. But the shower room was old wood that needs maintenance and repainting, and the TV had no English channels. Outside, there were cracks and mold, and the backyard looked scary and poorly kept, nothing like the pictures online. The worst part was laundry: they charged me almost 2,0000B for not many clothes. At a laundromat I'd spend not even 200B. Even though laundry is listed as available, don't do it here. This was my first and last booking at this hotel. I'd rather stay somewhere cheaper.

I've stayed here twice for a week each time. The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet generous, and the staff very friendly.
