The included meals were a real treat. We had Thai desserts and peach tea at high tea, followed by mookata for dinner, which suited the weather and the view perfectly. Afterwards, we grilled corn, sweet potato, and marshmallows and kept eating while enjoying the scenery. Breakfast was boiled rice, my favorite. We even got so full from the complimentary snack corner, where we could choose fish balls and fry them ourselves, plus unlimited instant noodles with lots of choices, that we had little room for afternoon tea. Our room at Le Doi was super clean and relaxing, with river and mountain views. I was surprised by the quality of the amenities, including a Marshall speaker, Coway water filter, and Dyson hair dryer. The staff were local, so English communication was difficult, but they were very friendly and supportive. Google Translate helped. The team and the reasonable price made this a memorable retreat, and I’ll probably come back.

The food alone made this feel worth the price. Afternoon tea was delicious and nicely presented. For dinner, we had the beef set, which was huge, more than enough for two, then grilled marshmallows and sweet potatoes. There’s also an unlimited noodle station open 24 hours, with more than ten toppings. The room was spotless and spacious, with a view we didn’t want to leave. It also had thoughtful extras, a Dyson hair dryer and a mini Marshall speaker. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. This was the highlight of our trip, and we’re already planning to return.

Dinner was a huge portion of Thai BBQ, moo kra ta, and hot pot. We couldn’t finish it all, and they also provided corn and sweet potatoes to grill, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was really well served, with both Asian and Western choices, and I don’t regret having it at all. We also enjoyed the splendid afternoon tea with Thai-style desserts and peach tea. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the bed was so comfortable, and the view was stunning. A great stay, and I’d definitely come back!
