Pai 91.5 Resort felt like a peaceful stop on the road between Mae Malai and Pai District, away from many tourist attractions. I paid 800 THB a night in peak season and found it excellent value. The room was spotless, the bed and blanket were comfortable, and the greenery, birdsong, and cool mountain air made the stay refreshing. I judge a place by what I get for the price and the whole experience, and this exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was 120 THB per person, which seemed a little high for a basic plate of fried eggs, sausages, bread, and coffee. A lower price, or better quality and more variety, would improve the value. If you enjoy nature and a quiet retreat, it could be a lovely place to stop or get away for a while.
