We spent two nights here for our honeymoon, and it was quiet, romantic, and relaxing, just right for getting away from the city. The hotel and our room were beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The staff were so kind, and the food was very good. There are several elephant sanctuaries nearby, so we managed to visit one on both days, including one the hotel staff arranged for us.

Mr Chai, the Restaurant Manager, made communication easy with his excellent English, and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rest of the service staff were cheerful and attentive, and Mr Bah drove us around with such a friendly manner. Ms Euang was also extremely helpful and went the extra mile. We stayed two nights, three days, as a group of five and all had a lovely experience. The calm, nature-filled charm of Sibsan Resort and Spa is a real pleasure, and the resort is conveniently close to the Elephant Park while tucked away from the city noise. Our rooms were clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it.

We spent four wonderful days here and made use of all the facilities. The room service was quick and responsive, cleanliness was outstanding, and the bed, mattress, chairs, and outdoor seating were all very comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was well organized, with drinks, a fresh salad bar, fruit, and fresh vegetables each day. The food was very good overall. The restaurant and café views were breathtaking, and the pool was clean and calm. We also loved the spa massage, which felt authentic, deeply relaxing, and rejuvenating, especially wearing traditional Thai clothing during the treatment. There’s also a tree house with a stunning view, and we enjoyed the meditation areas, too. The resort theme thoughtfully honors two young elephants who were lost in a flood in November. Chai kindly guided us on a peaceful ride to their nearby memorial, which the resort created with respect and compassion. We were given a free upgrade to a riverside room, a lovely surprise that made our January stay even more special and peaceful. The staff were kind and caring from the moment we arrived. I’m grateful to everyone, from the security team at the entrance and the golf cart drivers who took us between facilities, to the smiling reception team who were always ready to help. The check-in and check-out staff made everything easy, though I wish I could remember all their names. At our very early check-out before breakfast, the reception team surprised my husband and me with a delicious, neatly packed breakfast bag each for the journey to the airport. Such a thoughtful gesture. This was a peaceful and meaningful stay, full of care and lovely memories. We’d happily return.

This was the worst 4 star resort I’ve stayed at. It’s in a very remote area, about an hour from the city. The spacious rooms were one positive, but the gardens and outdoor activities were badly neglected. There was a swamp in front of our room with mosquitoes, and the waterway had been blocked for months and smelled terrible. The pool had lots of dirt and tree leaves, and it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for a few days. Part of the hotel is already closed, which is no surprise. Breakfast was very basic, and everything else on the menu cost double. There are no nearby food options either. This place might work if you’re visiting the elephant orphanage and staying one night. Otherwise, don’t stay in this area. There’s not much to do.

The pool area is large and beautiful, and we also enjoyed the meditation spots, the golf cart rides to the rooms, the gym, and spa. The bungalow-style rooms have charming ethnic decor, a special atmosphere, and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast had plenty of delicious options, and the service was excellent, from room service to the polite, friendly restaurant staff. The manager was especially welcoming and attentive during breakfast. We only stayed a couple of days while visiting the nearby park, but SibSan Resort exceeded our expectations. It was one of our most enjoyable hotel stays in a long time. We’d recommend it and love to return for longer next time.
