Palm Spring Apartment

I reported room equipment that needed fixing almost a month before I moved out. They only came to repair it a week before I left. The dormitory and its caretaker are irresponsible, and they take action far too slowly.

The manager acted quickly when problems came up and moved us to another room right away. Still, for the price, it felt quite expensive. Our original room didn’t seem very clean, almost as if it hadn’t been used much. The bathroom leaked, the water pressure was weak, and the lighting was so dim it felt scary. It was acceptable overall.

I transferred money to book a room, but never got to stay there. I’ve heard there have been cases like this too.

The location was good, and the room itself wasn’t bad, but the service was the worst I’ve experienced in all the hotels I’ve stayed at. I moved in around June 2023, and the receptionists were terrible at customer service. When I asked for the hotel owner’s information, they wouldn’t give me anything and only said they didn’t know, that they were just caretakers. The manager needs to be changed. The room was dark and cold. The decor was okay, but the TV was useless and there were no power outlets. It had a sliding bathroom door. Some rooms were good and some bad, apparently depending on luck. I asked to switch rooms three times. The rooms weren’t soundproof, so I couldn’t sleep well, and staff knocked loudly on my door almost every day, as if chasing customers away. One woman I encountered looked like she was in high school. She spoke rudely, tossed my keys at me, and ignored me while I was playing a game. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password, she said she didn’t know, without offering to look it up or speaking politely, then ignored me again. She even slammed down her phone, which was annoying. The housekeeper talked loudly on the phone, loud enough to hear in my room. The caretaker brought a dog to play at the hotel, and it barked loudly at night. The work felt disorganized and the service was like dealing with a little kid. I never saw staff at reception. They were eating grilled pork next door, and the hotel seemed indifferent.
