The wagons have been renovated and were spotless and in perfect shape when we stayed for a night. We had a wonderful time, and the resort has plenty of potential. It went through a difficult period during the COVID lockdown and fell behind on upkeep. The owner recently passed away unexpectedly, and her daughter has taken over and begun bringing the place back to life. I trust she’ll restore it and add activities for people looking to get away from the busy city. Some reviews seem very outdated or unrelated to the resort.

We visited in lovely weather and could sleep without air conditioning. The pavilion style was clean and pleasant, and the location is good. Staff seemed to be around when I didn’t need anything, but hard to find when I did. Since this was during the COVID-19 situation, I’d say the service was acceptable overall.

There’s a campground with a cowboy theme and some obstacle courses, plus a cool spot at the foot of the mountain. You can wander around the vegetable garden or buy organic vegetables. The site can accommodate about 175 visitors, so it’s a nice place for camp activities.
