I had to request a room change after finding a live centipede in my room. For a hotel, that’s a serious cleanliness and safety concern, not a small annoyance. Sleeping was also uncomfortable because the air conditioning was very loud and pointed directly at the bed, blowing onto my head all night. The bathroom setup raised another safety issue: the shower is inside a bathtub with no proper anti-slip protection, so it seems easy to slip and fall when the surface is wet. Those problems affected cleanliness, sleep quality, and basic safety. I can’t recommend this hotel, and future guests should think carefully about them before booking.

The location is convenient, but bring an extra towel unless you can get more from the hotel. There are ants around the front desk and in the attached dining area. Also, the lobby is upstairs. With heavy luggage, getting up a flight of stairs is a pain, and there’s no elevator from the ground floor. They’re trying to stop people bringing outside guests back at night. The shower setup is simply horrible. The tub is very high, the glass door only closes partway, and water drains over the sides and floods the floor, even with towels down to soak it up. See photos. Getting out takes extra care even for young people, and customer reviews have reported falls and accidents. Book with caution if those things matter to you.

The rooms are small but renovated, which is a plus. Still, the shower water pressure is very weak, some facilities close at random instead of following a schedule, and the elevator doesn’t work from the first floor.

We’ve traveled all over the world making YouTube videos and stayed in all kinds of hotels, cheap and expensive, but we’ve never had an arrival like this. The staff member at the entrance was incredibly grumpy, with no welcome or greeting. We stood with our luggage by the elevator, and all they said was “wait.” Not “please wait,” just “wait...” That was our welcome. We arrived a day before our reservation, so we had to rent a room for an extra night. Then came the biggest absurdity: the hotel only accepts payment in Thai baht, even though it hosts tourists. I think that says enough; you can see the rest on YouTube. Still, we’re not unhappy. We’ll be in Pattaya for two weeks. We booked four days because we weren’t sure, and we’ll cancel it tomorrow if possible. The receptionist was friendly, but a smile doesn’t help when it’s not backed up.
