The owners were very nice and helpful. They gave me an extra big bottle of water when I arrived, then invited me to share Mukata with them that evening.
It’s simple and close to nature, with flying insects and lizards that are part of the charm. The room was hot, though, with fans only and no A.C. There were three fans in the big room, plus mosquito nets. No fridge. The toilet and shower share a room, and there’s no deposit. You can borrow bikes, which is really nice. There’s a 7 Eleven about a five-minute walk away, but without a car it’s far from everything else. It can be quite hard to find. A booking gets you one room, not all the rooms, and an extra room costs 350 baht. The lady lives nearby and can help, though she doesn’t speak English, so you’ll need a translator.
Such a peaceful, clean place with lots of trees. There’s no air conditioning, but it wasn’t hot. The owner is lovely and kind, and the dog is playful. It’s big, though, so I didn’t dare play with it. All those beautiful trees make it clear how kind the owner is. The price is very affordable, and I’ll definitely come back next time! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
It felt so much like being at home, or staying with relatives. The rooms are divided nicely in this house-style accommodation, and ours was clean and spacious. There are only fans, but the air stays good thanks to the shady trees. Shut the doors and windows to keep mosquitoes out, though there are quite a few gnats. The price is very cheap and excellent value. We were five people in a large room and paid so little, which is why we made the effort to come, haha. The elderly couple who own it are very kind and friendly. The auntie is chatty and welcoming, and they gave us jackfruit to eat. It’s easy to locate on the map: the last house in the first alley on the left in the village lane. I’ll stay there again next time I’m in the area. I’m really sorry to the elderly couple for forgetting to close the door early that morning. We both thought the other person had shut it and were rushing off, worried about not finding parking at the university. By the time we realized, we were already quite far away. 🙏
