The room was modern and a good size, with a really good bed. The toilet was clean and roomy too. This is a new hotel with the oshine (Oshinei) on the ground floor. Good place, fair price, about 500-700 bath per room per night.

The town center is maybe a 15-minute drive away. This is a lovely minimalist hotel for a very reasonable price, and I slept really well on the comfortable mattress. Breakfast had a varied buffet, plus tasty omelettes made to order. The bathroom has a glass window, which was a surprise!

The power was due to be cut from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the next morning, but the hotel only told me after I had completed the booking. That makes no sense. There’s no breakfast service either. Those things are why I’d give it two stars. I stayed one night in Nakorn Panom in a large-format room. It was cozy and clean, though not spotless: there was dust when I opened the window and on the sill. Housekeeping should be trained to clean more thoroughly. If you’re looking for a local, inexpensive hotel, this place isn’t bad. Compared with other hotels for service, cleanliness, and attention to detail, though, it needs improvement. It’s still new and modern and could attract customers even without being by the river.

The service was impeccable, and they have a selection of western beers and ciders too. We ate pesto pasta, carbonara, and burgers, and all of it was top notch. There’s a very wide choice of cakes, and the cakes and coffee were delicious. My cappuccino was only warm, not hot enough for me. It seemed like the cup hadn’t been warmed, so the drink cooled down. I didn’t stay at the hotel, just visited the restaurant/café. The interior is modern and unique, and it’s well worth a visit for good food if you’re nearby.
