Eco Valley Lodge

We were a couple there for one night, and it was a nightmare. The room door was only a mesh screen, so outside noise came through constantly and there was no way to seal it out. The rooms badly need renovation. The owner says it’s a 3-star hotel, but even so, the rooms should be in the best condition they can be. Prices are premium while the owner seems unwilling to invest, and that excuse is a poor response. The food was expensive for what you got, with few options and a cramped, limited selection. The price overall is high for what’s offered.

After a day seeing the national park, relaxing by the pool was just what we needed. The cottages are lovely, set in a nice garden, and have comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and air conditioning if you need it. The location is quiet and not far from the park. The restaurant is very good too, and its panang curry gai was the best I’d had in weeks. The staff are so friendly. This is my favourite hotel in Khao Yai, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had a clean, comfortable room and enjoyed our stay as a family. Our cat came with us and seemed happy too, sniffing out all the interesting smells. The resort is in a peaceful part of Khao Yai, the pool is well maintained, and breakfast was tasty. The internet was fast enough for video calls when needed. We’d definitely come back on our next trip to Khao Yai.

There’s lots of space here, with a beautiful natural setting. A second swimming pool is tucked away at the far end of the grounds. Breakfast was okay, though there was no variety at all, and this kind of hotel seems geared toward stays of two or three nights. The rooms are old but clean and cozy, and the staff were polite and friendly. I spent three nights here, but it was very noisy late at night. I don’t know why, maybe the neighboring hotel or other guests. 🤷🏻‍♀️
