The room itself was fine, but they have strict rules. After 11 am, late checkout costs 100 per hour. At checkout, you have to wait while they inspect the room before getting back your 100 deposit. The keys and TV and AC remotes were handed to us in a bag. The receptionist wasn't very friendly, and drinks and other items in the shop were about 40% overpriced. It gives the impression the owner is money hungry.

If you don't need anything fancy, this is a real bargain. The place is clean, spacious, quiet enough apart from traffic on the adjacent road, and environmentally friendly. The room is large with very basic furnishings, and the overall stay was pleasant. Food and drinks can be ordered online using the menu and landline phone in the room. The main reception building is open 24 hours and has refreshments too. Two things could be better: the shower heater barely warmed the water, and the AC unit seemed undersized. Still, the price is very affordable.

The garden beside the reception and shop is great, and the next-door farm and wetland mean you look out onto greenery. It's easy to find just off the main road, but we don't hear the traffic. Service is always friendly, and the place has been clean on the dozen or so times we've stayed while visiting family. Around 450 baht a night is good value. I was disappointed on our last stay to find they no longer cook breakfast for room service.

After a long drive, the garden was a nice place to relax, and the rooms were squeaky clean. Good value for money. Maybe adding some fish to the pond would help with the mosquitoes.
