K.S. Pavilion Hotel

The mall is nearby, which is a good point, but the price felt high for what the hotel offers. I think 500 baht would be fairer than 765. The place is older and needs some maintenance before it deserves more stars.

We only looked at a room and didn't stay. The hotel has a large parking area, a big lobby with an elevator, a pool, and breakfast, though we can't say how good it is. It's centrally located near malls, and the weekday Agoda twin rate under 500 baht is very good. Walk-in pricing is over 700 baht. The main road is a real problem right now because major construction has made traffic bad. The twin room we saw was dated, plain, and pretty bleak, with no charm. The beds were rock hard, to the point of being unbearable, and the TV was small.

The room's condition and cleanliness didn't match the online listing. Don't waste your time or money.

I spotted a loose electrical socket hanging out into the access corridor, apparently still connected and lying on the floor. That didn't give me much confidence in the management's attention to upkeep. I'd arrived hoping to have a cocktail before dinner. The printed drinks menu had plenty of cocktails listed, but when I asked for a Singapore sling, I was told they only had gin, whiskey, vodka, soda, and lime. The building, location, and facilities could make this a very profitable place, but it felt as if management had stopped trying to maintain or improve the hospitality.
