We booked just one night at first, unsure what the price would get us, but liked it enough to stay three more. The location is excellent for a budget hotel, and the room was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed, warm water, dependable air conditioning, and a small balcony. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and there’s a handy coffee station on my floor. Great value. I’d book again if I’m in the area, with nothing to complain about.

I really enjoyed my stay at Moonlight House and hope to come back. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my room was clean, had good wifi, lots of windows, and great views. It’s a fantastic little hotel in a central spot, tucked on a side street that stays very quiet. Thank you! 🥰

The room was clean, and they lend out bicycles for free. Handy for riding around the city wall and gate areas, or heading to nearby temples and the night market.

The owner was a very kind and polite person, and I’m grateful for the hospitality. For 14 euros a night, I got more than expected: a spotless, spacious room with huge windows and a green view outside, a private bathroom, working AC, a large fridge, and plenty of cupboards and drawers. There was also a desk for work and plugs beside the bed. The bathroom had hot water, plus free shampoo and soap. Coffee and tea are available all day, and there’s a small ground-floor lounge where you can meet other travellers, if there happen to be any. I highly recommend it and would stay again if I’m ever back in this part of the world. Thank you. 😊

For the price, the hotel is nice, but I don’t get why they don’t put in better curtains. It’s in the center, where people may want to enjoy the nightlife, yet I found it very hard to sleep after 5:30 because the thin white curtains let almost all the light in. They also leave the room feeling not private at night. Even a budget hotel could use better ones.
