Som O House Hotel

The room was spacious and clean for a good price. These are photos of the breakfast dining area. I'd call breakfast basic. The lady in high heels took five minutes to make scrambled eggs and dropped one on the floor first, so I'm sure she's a trainee. The egg, cooked fresh and slowly, tasted good. In my photo of the egg station, the cleaner lady has left her rag and spray bottle. The other buffet eggs were cold. Where's the real chef?

A good new hotel, with clean rooms and a nicely sized bathroom and shower. I thought the breakfast was better than average for a hotel at this price, despite some reviews saying it wasn't very good. There was a good choice, including eggs, salad, fruit, and both Thai and Western options.

The room was clean and nice, the shower good, and breakfast fair. The hotel is in new condition, but I didn't feel the warmth you get at some three- or four-star places. It's not bad value for the price and works for an overnight stay. Hard to give it three stars, really, more like two and a half.

A little gem, and I'd stay again. It's a new place, the bed is soft and comfy, the shower pressure is strong, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
