Khun Min was especially helpful with advice, and he always had a smile. The staff were polite and the service was great. I stayed last week and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and fully equipped for the price. Getting here was easy on the BTS Skytrain, with a 24-hour convenience store right outside and tasty street food nearby in the morning. Great value, and I’d happily come back. I recommend it.

I won't stay here again. I felt misled by the reviews, and the receptionist tried to get me to pay 25% more, or 200 baht, for one person in a king room than for two people, even though the beds are the same and can be pushed together or apart. The location is inconvenient: the BTS and 711 are far away, there’s little to do nearby, and Grab food delivery is sparse and costs 80-120 baht. A trip to the center is about 80 baht by public transport or 300 by cab. Half the rooms are very noisy. Mine smelled of sweat and mold, had a too-soft mattress, and was tiny with no space. The kitchen is only a microwave and water boiler, with no hot plate. There’s no washing machine in the room unless you pay highly inflated rates, 30% above online prices. The gym is a joke, just a treadmill, a bike, and very low-weight dumbbells. I don’t like being treated like an idiot.

The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and being right next to the BTS was great. The staff were polite, and the hotel is less than a year old and in excellent condition. The two-bedroom apartment had a bathtub, a big TV in the main bedroom, and 7-11 opposite. That bedroom had no window, which actually helped me sleep. The price was cheap, and there’s a lobby cafe. But there was no hand soap or conditioner, and cleaning was poor. On three occasions, something was left uncleaned or not cleaned properly, including a whole bathroom side or a table. Dishes still had bits on them after staff washed them, and they don’t provide anything for washing dishes. Once, a partly unrolled toilet roll had been left across the sink. These were basic cleaning issues, not a complaint about dust. I asked the front desk about nearby laundry and was told they had no information. There’s no iron or laundry service, and I couldn’t find services within a 10-minute walk. For a hotel this size, that’s unacceptable, so I cancelled a future booking. Soap for washing hands should be basic, especially when toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower caps are provided. Hotels of similar size, and even many smaller ones, have at least an iron guests can use, which wouldn’t cost much.

I’m glad they keep the gym clean. Maybe they could add an Inspire FT1 and a sit-up bench someday, then it’d be perfect. I saw other guests enjoying it too, which is good for the business. The hotel and staff are nice. My nose had adjusted to Thailand, and there was a bit of blood on the pillowcase. I could easily have used vlraner and cleaned it myself. I know it was my fault and wasn’t worried, since other hotels would clean that at no cost. Here the cleaning staff charged me 1000 baht. Maybe they don’t know that a good soap spray would clean it easily. Paul Maurice.
