Sukkhamas Pirom Hotel

The building is beautifully decorated, and the price seems fair for the quality. It’s a local hotel in Nakornratchasrima prefecture, close to R.N. market. Nearby attractions include Rajamangkala university of technology E-san Nakornratchasrima campus and Central Nakornratchasrima. The room was a moderate size without a bath hub, and the internet and basic accommodation were good. There’s enough parking for all customers.

We often recommend this hotel to our guests and colleagues. It’s clean, newer, reasonably priced, and has polite staff and a nice breakfast. It’s also close to NBK market and Central Mall.

At the corporate rate, it was 800 baht a night, good value for Korat town. The location is excellent, less than 1km from Central Plaza department store and about 1km from a local food market and night market in the other direction. There are coffee shops serving food and a few bistros and cafes within a five-minute walk. A large Thai food restaurant diagonally in front of the hotel opens in the evening. Parking was easy, with ample space in the hotel compound. The reception counter is small and sits along the walkway, so getting past can be inconvenient when a crowd is checking in. My room was quite spacious, with a small sitting area, but the bathroom felt a bit small in comparison and has a shower curtain. There’s a kettle, and tea and coffee are replenished daily. No hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was average: simple cornflakes, sunny-side-up fried eggs, sausages, toast with butter and jam, plus local options of pork porridge, a pan of curry pork and a pan of stir-fried vegetables. I stayed for two nights, and the menu and style didn’t change apart from the vegetables.

The staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was clean, everything worked, and it was above average compared with similar places in the city at the same price level. Breakfast was sufficient, with both Thai and continental food. Recommended.
