The Aree Grand Apartment

It was okay for a quick stop, though I wouldn't choose it for several days. The bed was big enough for two, but the blankets and pillows smelled musty. There wasn't much parking, and breakfast wasn't included. The internet was down, showing a red light, and unusable; cable TV didn't work either. Noise came through the walls, including neighbors opening and closing doors and using the bathroom water. The bathroom itself was noisy too, and the air conditioner made a loud cut-off sound, so we had to turn it off to sleep. (21/10/22)

I was so disappointed by this place that I hope it goes bankrupt. The room was expensive and had a ceiling leak. They sent a technician to fix it while our belongings were still inside, without calling us first. When we came back, tools and water bottles were mixed in with our things, and everything was dusty and dirty with nothing covered or protected. I felt unsafe staying there as a woman traveling alone, and wouldn't recommend it. The owner seemed influential and arrogant, and the staff were awful. When we asked to leave, a male employee who worked at the billiards table in front of the guesthouse yelled that we wouldn't get our deposit back if we left that night. I felt sorry for my mother when she handed him the deposit. He told us to wait outside the house for the district officer to get the money back. I don't know if the man was the current or former district officer, but he seemed arrogant. My mother and I stood in the heat watching people go by, then waited for hours to sign the contract, as if we were begging to stay. We never saw the district officer. The housekeeper eventually came out and took our money. We paid tens of thousands of baht, they moved in for two days, and then we gave the money away. May they be happy and peaceful. We poured water as a blessing for them along with the money we lost. I hope we never meet people like this again. Amen.

For the Kok Kruat subdistrict area, this place seems pretty okay. The rooms are nice, the atmosphere is pleasant, and it's easy to get to with convenient parking.

It was so peaceful here, surrounded by lush greenery, and the atmosphere was amazing. I'd definitely stay again if I get the chance.
