I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was nice and very big, and the location was great, but it’s on a busy road with lots of traffic and music from the restaurant across the street until late. Parking is limited, and I had to reverse onto the main road while my partner stopped traffic, which wasn’t ideal. Reception staff didn’t seem very welcoming. The bathroom needs updating. There’s no lift, though that didn’t bother me. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I don’t have much good to say, and I feel people stay once and don’t come back. I booked because the hotel was only 500 metres from where I was. On arrival, I was told our room had no air conditioning, but we could take a room with it for an extra 150 bht. We agreed. Then, once we were in the room, they called to say there’d be another 100 bht because it had two double beds and we only needed one. That took the price from 500 to a 50% increase.

The hot water did work, which was a surprising bonus. Still, the rooms were old, dated, and somewhat run down, and the place felt basic and shabby rather than like a hotel. I wouldn’t use it again. It was cheap, around 450 baht, so it may suit budget travelers who don’t expect much. A friend booked me here, assuming I wanted to be near nightlife.

The guy working there was super nice, and I even got a free coffee in the morning. It’s old and could be cleaner, but with the budget accommodation options in Korat, I think it’s a good deal. It’s decent. The music from the bar across the street, which I suppose was live, was quite loud. Maybe it’s different during the week, since I stayed on a Saturday.

I had a great stay at Tokyo hotel. The reception staff were kind and let me check in early. My room was very big and clean, and the service was great. The hotel is a little old, but it’s comfortable. I booked online and paid more than I would have at the hotel, so I suggest booking directly.
