The food was delicious, especially breakfast, with perfect pancakes and lovely fruit. We also toured the grounds with the owner, who told us a lot about the plantation. It’s entirely free of chemicals. The owner took us to the Crystal and Golden Temple, both very special even after we’d visited many temples on cycling trips. The Country Nature Lodge was a lovely surprise, in beautiful surroundings, and the owner and staff were very friendly.

The gardens are a real treat, and the owner will show you around and talk about the local plants and wildlife. The staff are super friendly, the food is very good, and the papaya salad is delicious. Rooms are basic but a good size, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Breakfast comes with fresh pancakes.

The nights are lovely if you enjoy hearing nature. It’s a place where families can stay more than one night, relax, enjoy karaoke singing, and try the homemade juices. The food was very good compared with other places I’ve been. The staff were really nice and, surprisingly, spoke very good German and English. The owner has a lovely Austrian accent, perhaps because they worked in Austria for a long time. Loved it.

The crew were so courteous and friendly, and the little patios are wonderful places to sit in peace. We had everything we needed for a few nights, and some of the best food we ate in Thailand.
