Maharaj Grand @Nakhonsithammarat

The location works well if you need to be near Maharaj Hospital, but that was about the only upside for me. Our room was very dirty, and the cleaning staff were rude. The bed linen was dirty when we arrived. The next day, the team refused to replace it and blamed us, even though I had a photo from check-in. The bed was very hard, with old sheets tied together using rubber bands. There was no shower curtain, and the leaking faucet sprayed water everywhere. There was nowhere to hang the bidet. The room was dusty and old, with ingrained dirt throughout. They rinsed our glasses quickly with tap water in the dirty bathroom sink right in front of us, then put the “sterilized for your safety” covers back on. I’m pretty sure they refill the free water bottles from the tap too. It costs 100 THB less than some much nicer hotels nearby, so I’d stay somewhere else.
