We first stopped here by chance during our motorcycle trip to 3 Pagoda Pass and enjoyed it enough to stay again on the way south. Nice people and good rooms. At breakfast, don't forget to toss some bread to the fish from the balcony.

Getting here from the main road isn't easy, so make sure your car navigation is up to it. The wooden bungalows are clean and looked after, but this is a standard river resort, not a place to expect much luxury. It's more for people who like nature. The restaurant is decent, though the menus are only in Thai. Wi-Fi was good and steady, and they offer biking and rafting facilities.

We stumbled across this place and were very pleased with it for our 5y, 3y and 2y. The sandy beach is great, and the surroundings are nicely arranged, with lots of space for the children to run around without the danger of falling into the river. It's a great place for families with small children. We enjoyed it even though the food took a little longer to arrive. It's tucked just near the very expensive and exclusive hintok camp, which doesn't have a beach.

We had a great weekend at this wonderful resort. The staff were attentive, and Pin made our stay extra special. The bamboo raft tours were a lot of fun. Credit to the three guides for making the experience as safe as they could for everyone. Thanks to you all.
