River Kwai Jungle view

The restaurant took ages to bring our order, about an hour and a half, but the food tasted so good that the wait paid off. The location and view are great, and the weather around this time was amazing. The wooden room felt very thin, with lots of squeaking.

The staff were really helpful, and I had a very pleasant stay. Bring your own drinks and you can get ice for free. There's also a complimentary raft trip that lasts about 40 minutes, which I enjoyed. The place is 110 km from Kanchanaburi and works well if you're after nature and a break from everything. It's basic, so skip it if you want luxury. Ask for a large balcony when booking, since some are tiny. You share the balcony with three other rooms, so there's no privacy there.

The staff were kind and the views are beautiful. The buffet was good, and they served it twice a day. There isn't much to do besides floating down the river once daily, and no taxi service is available. The place wasn't very clean, the air conditioner was moldy, and it didn't work properly.

The view is great and staying here was an enjoyable experience. Still, the food was a downside, the room had a musty smell, and it felt expensive. The air conditioner blows right at your face, which left me feeling dry and uncomfortable. If you're mainly coming for the experience, one night is enough.
