Supachai Inn

The location isn't ideal, but if you have your own transport it's easier. It may look like there's nowhere to get food or a 7-Eleven nearby, but those are actually about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Supachai Inn, even with your low prices, you can do better. I'm disappointed. I used to give this place four stars two years ago, but I feel the quality has dropped a lot. The woman at the front desk came across as borderline rude. The younger woman who worked there before always had a great smile for customers. The cleaning team were nice and helpful, which I appreciated. The place seemed dirtier this time, with mold in some areas and gecko droppings on the walls. The bed was squeaky and I could feel the springs, but they did give me another room with a better bed when I asked. The bathroom layout is very strange, and the shower head didn't work very well and was dirty. The furniture was clean and in good shape, but I found a dirty pair of panties in a drawer with a brown and yellow stain. These seem like basic, inexpensive maintenance issues that could be handled to keep guests happy and coming back.

The receptionist was very nice and spoke English. My room was huge, clean, and had everything I needed. There was plenty of space to bring my bicycle inside, which made the hotel especially bike-friendly. You can also buy snacks and drinks at reception, including German beers. Great value.

The bathroom was moldy, smelly, and dusty. Internet only seemed to get switched on after they saw me contacting Agoda. Breakfast was one slice of bread while five people were waiting. What I found was nothing like the description on Agoda. I checked out right away and asked for my money back. Terrace hotel is far superior.

The room was fine for a one-day stay. I did have trouble getting help with where to put the rubbish while the staff were busy on phone calls, and one staff member seemed unfriendly toward customers. Some additional staff training could help.
