The breakfast was the part I liked least. The restaurant was nice enough, but there wasn't much variety in the food and the service was just okay. Still, I'd like to return as soon as I can. We spent a couple of days here on a trip with family and friends, and the hotel was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. Around the main area there's a lovely pool and lots of greenery, plus horses and other animals to interact with. We also used the bicycles and electric cars around the golf course, which was in perfect condition and a hit with all of us. In the evening, they show movies on a big screen just outside the main bar near reception, so guests can watch over dinner or drinks.

The service was disappointing. I told Khun Miew and Khun Da at reception about the problems, but they weren't helpful. I'd booked three nights well ahead at a high rate and had specifically asked for modern rooms and baby amenities. Instead, the rooms were outdated, the bathroom drains were clogged, and it got very noisy at night when we opened the window.

They charged 800 baht per person for the Christmas decorations and event, which felt like a scam. For 1,600 baht for two, all we got was a free drink and a small concert, with little else. The food inside was expensive too, and there were very few choices.

A tough golf course with difficult greens, so be ready for a lot of putting. The caddies were fine, and the course was well maintained, though the fairways could use some attention.
