Nan city is totally charming, and this homestay made me feel welcome straight away. Khun Jade has put a lot of care into making it cosy, with spotless, homely rooms on a quiet back street that feels like stepping back in time. Way Phumin is just a short walk away. Breakfast was superb, especially the homemade jams, a lovely extra touch. It was a real bargain. I only wish we’d stayed more than one night, but we’ll certainly be back.

It feels like staying at a relative’s home, with the amenities well covered while still giving you a taste of local life. Wat Phumin and the museum are both just a two-minute walk away.
