The room was 600 for a double bed that wasn't especially large, with AC, TV, decent Wi-Fi, a hot shower that needs maintenance, coffee and khanom. Fair enough for the price, but the road outside is a real drawback: trucks, buses, cars and motorcycles without mufflers make it busy, noisy and polluted. Traffic eases only for a few hours in the middle of the night. There's also a blacksmith across the road making annoying daytime noise, so that's less of an issue if you arrive in the evening and leave early. The staff didn't seem interested in welcoming guests and appeared to want to get them out of the way quickly. That's a risky approach when Nan has plenty of similarly priced places with friendly, smiling staff. I wouldn't call this place either bad or good.

The owners are great, really friendly and helpful. If you're on a motorcycle, it's an even better fit: Pi Mong rides too and can share useful local tips.

The staff were a big help, and the rooms were clean and inexpensive. It's near the bus station, with the night market an easy walk away.
