The bed was fairly comfortable, but the stay didn’t come close to justifying the price. I paid 600 baht a night for a very basic room with no extra comforts, just a small fridge, no microwave or kettle, and not even shampoo in the bathroom. The shower pressure was weak and not relaxing, and I could clearly hear other guests through the walls, which made it hard to sleep. For such minimal facilities, around 260 baht a night would feel fair. They advertise breakfast downstairs, but when we went down, there was only coffee, which I don’t drink. It’s hard to believe there’s still no kettle in the room in 2025 at this price. I also hit my head really hard on the wall going down the stairs. There was no warning or sign, which showed a clear lack of attention to guest safety. For the same money, you can easily find a cleaner, safer room with better facilities. Better to look elsewhere.

The room was clean, and the hot shower had good water pressure. Parking is limited and around the back. There were plenty of spaces in the early afternoon, but it was full by evening. I visited on Father’s Day, so it may have been busier than usual.

After the toilet flooded with dirty water, the hotel didn’t do anything to put us at ease. Instead, they offered us another room for an additional fee, which didn’t benefit us and wasn’t a win-win situation. My friends and I were all disappointed, so we had to find a better hotel for the night. A very unfortunate experience.

The location makes it easy to get around, with good restaurants nearby, a 7/11 just 50 metres away, and an interesting night market very close. Renting a simple five-gear bicycle for 50 baht a day is a great way to explore this quiet, slow-life town. My clean double room had air conditioning, a fridge, and a TV, and cost 500 baht. There’s unlimited free instant coffee in the lobby. The beds and pillows are much harder than average, which suits me fine except for the pillow, but it could be a problem if you need a soft bed. Highly recommended.

The location is a perk: it’s between the walking street and the night market, though parking is very limited and you may need to leave your car on a nearby street. I got a bunk bed room for 600 baht. That’s not really cheap, but it was the year-end festive season, and the good hotels had all been booked, so there wasn’t much choice. If you’re on a budget, it can still be worth the money.
