AROUND Hostel

The bed felt just like my own bedroom, it was that comfortable. Around Hostel also has free snacks, instant noodles, and hot Chocolate in the living room. From the balcony or rooftop, I could watch the sunset over the Mekhong river every day, since the hostel is right in front of it. The owner wanted me to feel at home, and I definitely plan to return.

The rooms and toilets were spotless, the Wi-fi was very fast, and they provide towels and free bikes. There's also a great sunset view over the Mekong River. Breakfast was excellent, with a typical Thai dish, fruit, jams, honey, snacks, milk, juice, and food from the local market. The first guests also seemed to get extras, like free food at any time. At Around Hostel, the staff were kind and helpful with everything I needed. They were always around for a chat or a card game with guests, and even took me to a cozy local restaurant nearby. They really make an effort to help you feel at home. It's brand new in Nong Khai, and I'd definitely recommend it. Five stars!

It's a clean, comfortable budget hostel right on the Mekong, in a really valuable spot in town. From the rooftop, you can watch a beautiful sunset dip down over the river. It's simple and relaxing, and close to popular places like Tha Sadej market, Wat Pho Chai, and sunk stupa (Pra Thaad Laa Nong). Nearby, people exercise around the paired gigantic Naga Statue, a Nong Khai landmark. The staff were incredibly hospitable, attentive to details, and helpful. I'd gladly return. See you AROUND :)

A really lovely hostel, with clean and comfortable facilities and a few nice shared spaces. I especially liked the beanbags on the balcony.
